Do I need a doctor’s referral to see an Osteopath or Acupuncturist?
No, you don’t, the only time a doctor’s referral would be necessary would be if your insurance plan requires that you have a doctor’s referral to receive reimbursement. If you are concerned about any medical pathology and /or disease, always consult your physician prior to exploring Osteopathic Manual Therapy.
Will my Extended Health Care plan reimburse me for Osteopathy and Acupuncture?
Most extended health care plans cover Osteopathy and/or Acupuncture Treatment; however, it is carrier and policy specific. Ask your HR department or plan administrator for more information. We can also definitely assist you to coordinate with your Extended Health Insurances by authorizing us to help you.
How long is a session?
Osteopathy and Acupuncture will take an hour for initial and 45 mins for subsequent visits.
